It’s a very risky proposition, although the National Wood Flooring Association is now advocating it’s use but with limited products primarily with shorter products.
Definitely not for a DIY’er with the solid 3/4″ hardwoods.
The flooring looks like hardwood not engineered hardwood. Can you really glue down actual hardwood to a sealed cement floor?
Hey Tim. I noticed that you mentioned using a concrete sealer… but then, you started with flooring adhesive. Is this an “all-in-one” compound? If so, can you recommend some all-in-one compounds that seal and provide adhesion… allowing engineered hardwood to be installed directly over concrete? Thanks.
